Shurize is a resourceful and results-focused professional with more than 5 years of experience establishing and managing strategic marketing programs to build and foster partnerships with senior marketing and media leaders at companies and orgs such as Variety, After-School All-Stars, AwesomenessTV/
Dreamworks Animation, amongst others.
She has produced three short films for filmmakers Lande Yoosuf, Nosarieme Garick and Shani Hadjian.

With a history in marketing, film, media/entertainment, arts education, and non-profit organizations, Shurize is adept at creating a clear vision and defining direction, mission, strategic priorities, and governance in adherence to defined creative and business objectives.

Shurize earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications with a minor in Film and Media from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
She's is a God-fearing, Jazz-loving, candle lighting, chocolate-chip cookie-eating, oat-milk and matcha drinking, spreadsheet organizing, notebook-collecting soul; born and raised in Hollis, Queens, NY, hailing from a West Indian family.
